AREAS OF PRACTICE
Mr. Hawthorne primarily practices in the areas of tax, estate and business law including mergers and acquisitions, tax law, asset protection, estate planning, probate, trust and estate law, trust and estate litigation and administration, agricultural law, real estate and general business and commercial law. He assists clients in planning and organizing business entities and ventures, negotiating business acquisitions, sales and mergers and other complex commercial transactions. Mr. Hawthorne's tax practice includes estate, gift and income tax planning for individual and business clients as well as representation of them in tax litigation before the U.S. Tax Court and in tax controversies before the IRS.
